January seems to have come and gone in a flash and here at The Scott Partnership we’ve had a very exciting start to the year welcoming new clients on board, gearing up for big industry trade shows including SLAS and Pittcon as well as our Creative Development Director Laura Browne moving to Massachusetts to head up our US office.
Budgets are always a hot topic at this time of year and according to the International Communications Consultancy Organisation (ICCO) Industry Barometer Pulse Check™ agencies and clients have been having positive discussions when it comes to PR budgets for 2015. The ICCO has predicted strong growth in the global PR industry based on its key findings which revealed that 40% of consultancy respondents describe budget discussions as ‘generally positive’ and 50% said that the industry would grow by at least 10% over the next year.
An equal number of respondents also said that they had refreshed their business model over the last year and that it was making ‘a real difference’.
