The challenge
SGD Pharma needed marketing support for the launch of a new product line in the competitive cannabidiol (CBD) oils market, a new sector for the company.

The solution
We proposed and implemented an integrated campaign designed to generate leads, developing a suite of marketing material:
- Educational whitepaper
- Event sponsorship
- Email marketing with gated landing page
- Social media advertising and sponsorship plus organic social media/blog programme
- Supporting PR activity.
The results
Here are some of the results so far:
- Sponsoring The Science of Cannabis event enabled SGD Pharma to create immediate brand impact, and yielded 2,980 global delegate contacts who we could then market our content to.
- We used these leads to implement the email marketing campaign, with the CBD whitepaper as the key content asset. This generated 59 active leads.
- A lead gen and gated conversion project generated a total of 3,148 new contacts among relevant global CBD and cannabis companies at a cost per lead of £8.68.
